About K4D
The Knowledge for Development (K4D) Foundation empowers communities and enables social inclusion through capacity building programs to advance data and digital literacy for data-driven innovations and culture.
Registered in 2023 as a not-for-profit organization in Thailand, the K4D Foundation is dedicated to empowering underrepresented and marginalized communities with necessary skills and knowledge to enable an active participatory environment, gender and social inclusion, and sustainable data ecosystem. The K4D Foundation has a vision to embrace a wealth of knowledge and practices using data-driven approaches to build community capacities, enhance access to information, and advance digital skills and knowledge in order to achieve a collaborative data ecosystem.

The K4D Foundation aims to mobilize knowledge through various data-driven mechanisms and engage underrepresented and marginalized communities in the learning process. At the K4D Foundation, we believe in a fair and open access to information and participatory governance of the data ecosystem. We work to convene and amplify the voices of underrepresented communities for an inclusive knowledge society.
