K4D’s Culture of Ethics and Compliance
The Knowledge for Development Foundation (“K4D”) is fully committed to implementing its projects ethically, transparently and in compliance with all laws, regulations and contractual obligations to which it is subject. As part of its efforts to promote an institutional culture of ethics and compliance, K4D:
- Maintains a Code of Conduct that sets out the standards of ethical behavior and professional conduct for all K4D directors, officers, employees, consultants, contractors, and agents;
- Provides exceptionally strong financial, operational and program systems and management to ensure the highest levels of compliance; and
- Is committed to implementing policies, procedures, training, and outreach initiatives to ensure an organization-wide culture of ethics and compliance.
Reporting
Reports of fraud, abuse, or harassment must be brought to K4D’s attention in a timely manner. Reports and questions may be submitted through: (i) the employee’s immediate supervisor, (ii) Foundation Director via email: director@knowledge4development.org, and (iii) K4D’s Board of Director or via email: info@knowledge4development.org. All reporting to K4D will be treated in confidence.
